Commission’s RED II Proposal Has “Significant Shortcomings”

Recently, the Impact Assessment Institute appeared to take the European Commission to task over its proposal to revise the Renewable Energy Directive (known as RED II) (see April monthly report for clients; see blog posts Feb. 12, 2017; Nov. 30, 2016; Oct. 12, 2016; July 29, 2016). The IAI is an independent body with the mission to  scrutinise the evidence base for proposed and active legislation.”  It provides impartial scientific and factual analysis on policy and legislative proposals, secondary legislation, amendments, active regulations, evaluations and other relevant policy studies.
